Spoke Joins Forces with Qualcomm and Audi-Volkswagen Group

Bringing VRU2X™ to Life at ITS World Congress Atlanta

At this year’s ITS America Events and ITS World Congress, Spoke is proud to stand alongside Qualcomm Technologies and Audi AG–Volkswagen Group to showcase that communication between cars and bikes is not a distant vision — it’s happening today.

Through the Georgia DOT’s V2X Day One Deployment District in Atlanta, the three companies are running live demonstrations of Spoke’s VRU2X™ software, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud platform. The result: Cars see bikes. Bikes see cars. Even beyond line of sight.

This breakthrough in direct communication enables vehicles to anticipate and respond to cyclists and pedestrians sooner, providing a new level of awareness that enhances safety for everyone on the road.

Built for Two Wheels and Four

Designed for both cyclists and drivers, VRU2X™ helps reduce crashes by integrating vulnerable road users into the connected vehicle ecosystem. With Audi-Volkswagen Group’s involvement, these demonstrations illustrate how leading automotive brands can scale this capability across global markets, extending awareness and protection to millions of road users.

In addition to cyclists, the initial deployment also gives greater visibility to pedestrians, advancing system-wide safety and awareness for motorists and automated vehicle technologies.

A Shared Vision for Safer Journeys

“Spoke’s long-standing partnerships with Qualcomm and Audi continue to shape the inclusion of vulnerable road users in the emerging connected ecosystem,” said Jarrett Wendt, CEO of Spoke. “Our focus on scaling partnerships and delivering market-ready solutions has been the foundation of our shared vision.”

The live demos have already received enthusiastic feedback from attendees. Running on an invite-only basis, they offer industry leaders and decision-makers the chance to experience first-hand how Spoke, Qualcomm, and Audi-Volkswagen Group are working together to deliver safer, more connected journeys.

Proving What’s Possible

Together with our partners, Spoke is proving that a safer, more connected mobility future is not just possible — it’s here.
